After many years of welcoming patients and keeping our front desk running smoothly, Ev has announced her retirement as receptionist for the clinic.

From calming nervous patients to juggling busy phones with a smile, Ev has been the heart of our reception area and helped make our clinic such a welcoming place. Her kindness, patience and laughter have touched both our clinic staff, and the countless people who’ve walked through our doors.

We’re so grateful for the 14 years of dedication and care she shared with us. While we’ll miss seeing her at the front desk each day, we wish Ev all the best as she enjoys this well deserved next chapter.

If you are new to the clinic for chiropractic or its been more than 2 calendar years since your last appointment, please book an Initial Patient Assessment.

If its been over 1 calendar year since we’ve seen you, but less than 2 years, please schedule a Re-exam and Treatment.

Do you need to cancel?

Please CALL the office as soon as possible to cancel your appointment. If it’s after hours, leave us a message. Please do not cancel via email.

Cancellation policy

Everyone’s well-being is important to us, and we ask you stay home when you’re sick. However, we do require:

• 24-hour notice: No charge

• Less than 24 hours notice: Full treatment fee

As part of our cancellation policy, we require the collection of credit card information for all appointments. This measure is necessary due to the increase in no-shows without this information. Rest assured, we are SSL compliant.

Dr. Sveinsson was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Regina and then attended Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. She started practice with her husband, KJ, and has been practicing in Leduc for 23 years. She loves treating children, mothers to be, and new moms and has patients of all ages. Using spinal manipulation and joint mobilization, along with other techniques like Activator, Myofascial release and trigger point therapies, she provides effective evidence-based acute and maintenance care. She also volunteers as an examiner with the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board. Outside of work, Leigh enjoys her family and their 2 dogs, curling, golf, weight lifting, and travelling.

McKenzie was born and raised in rural Alberta, and has been living in Leduc for the last two years. Prior to Leduc, she lived in Beaumont while she attended Makami College where she completed her 3000 hour program to become an RMT. McKenzie Selway has been a practicing RMT for over three years. She is focused and dedicated on promoting patient health and wellness through effective massage techniques. She is compassionate as well as driven when it comes to creating an effective treatment for all her patients . Mckenzie will help you establish clear goals and ways to manage your pain from injuries, accidents or just day to day stress and tension. Mckenzie specializes in deep tissue massage along with, relaxation, trigger point work and cupping. When not helping patients, her hobbies include working out, spending time with her pets and going to concerts to listen to the classic rock music we all know and love.

Dr. Ryan Block was raised on a farm outside of Olds Alberta and attended the University of Alberta playing with the Golden Bears football team to complete his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. His studies lead him to Iowa where he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where he was on scholarship for rugby and graduated as Valedictorian. One of his passions is to restore proper biomechanical functioning through traditional chiropractic adjustments, exercise, and soft tissue therapies. Dr. Jakubowski is certified in and utilizes Active Release Technique® (ART) along with chiropractic to treat his patients. With his knowledge of strength and conditioning, he also provides individuals with active care plans to help improve quality of life.

Dr. Braden was raised in Leduc, Alberta and attended MacEwan University where he played on a hockey scholarship with the team winning the ACAC championship. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology then attended the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. He graduated Summa cum laude while also completing his Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning through Logan University.
